Learn how Vicor radiation-tolerant power modules enable the ideal Power Delivery Network (PDN) for today’s satellites

Satellites are increasingly incorporating high-performance computing (HPC), placing new demands on radiation tolerant power delivery networks (PDNs). These PDNs must deliver hundreds of amps of current at less than 1V to supply advanced processors for AI and other applications as satellites become more sophisticated. To meet this growing need, Vicor developed and evaluated a satellite power solution featuring a 100V input and 0.8V/150A output.

Vicor will present at the 38th Microelectronics Workshop (MEWS38)

Vicor presents on October 24: 10:30 to 11:30 AM
Tsukuba International Congress Center, Japan

Vicor radiation-tolerant factorized power modules for LEO and MEO applications

Presented by Yutaka Mizutani, Senior Field Application Engineer, Vicor Japan

Vicor will present how our radiation-tolerant power modules enable the ideal Power Delivery Network (PDN) for today’s LEO and MEO satellites, providing high efficiency, high-density, low-noise voltage conversion to power advanced network communication ASICs and processors to provide on orbit decision making.

With our technology - FPA, innovated for HPC and other industries, we recently developed and evaluated a satellite power solution featuring a 100V input and 0.8V/150A output.
