Andover, MA, January 29, 2026 – Vicor Corporation today announced that the BCM6135 DC-DC bidirectional power converter module won the Excellence Award in Modular Power Supply Industry 2025 given by 21Dianyuan. The annual award celebrates the most innovative product design and application in the modular power industry.

Vicor, the leader in high-performance power modules, was recognized for its flagship product, the BCM6135, a high voltage to SELV DC-DC power converter. The automotive-qualified product has driven unprecedented innovation because of its top-rated power density and unmatched speed (top transient response) in automotive today. It has enabled OEMs and Tier Ones to solve the toughest power design challenges, including the decades-old active suspension power dilemma. The remarkably small and powerful module can optimize vehicles with a 48V zonal power architecture, support 60-second windshield defrosting and can help eliminate a 48V battery altogether, saving massive space and increasing range. Its compact size can reduce power system volume by nearly 50%.

“We are very honored to receive this award,” said Kevin Ni, Vicor Field Application Engineer for Asia Pacific. “The BCM6135 continues to impress our customers and enable them to design innovation power delivery networks that help reduce size and weight.”

Figure 2: Vicor power modules are essential to helping design the smallest and lightest active suspension system on the market by combining a 48V architecture and high-density DC-DC converters (BCM6135). Four Vicor fixed-ratio BCM6135, 800V-to-48V DC-DC bus converters are used to convert high voltage to 48V and route power to each wheel. The BCM6135 is bidirectional and provides the fastest transient response of any DC-DC converter. This symmetrical switching speed enables optimal energy regeneration when directly linked to the DC-DC converter.
